Sir Lowry's Pass, Gordon's Bay and Clarence Drive already seen on Day 3. New ground: Pringle Bay (dramatic wild village, crashing Atlantic swells) and Betty's Bay. Stop at Stony Point Nature Reserve in Betty's Bay β a second African penguin colony, completely different from Boulders, no entry fee, almost no tourists. Worth every minute. Total drive ~2 hrs with stops.

City centre: Uber or walk. Red Bus hop-on-hop-off for Day 1 orientation. Car essential for Constantia, Peninsula and Winelands days.
Best month to visit β 24β28Β°C days, ~16Β°C evenings. Clear skies, light wind. Always pack a light layer β weather can turn quickly.
False Bay (Kalk Bay, Simonstown) is warm ~20Β°C. Atlantic side (Camps Bay) is cold ~14β16Β°C.
Woolworths for best quality. Checkers as a strong second. Both have great pre-made meals and excellent local produce.
Designate a driver or use the Wine Tram on Franschhoek day. SA drink-drive laws are strict. Uber is available in Stellenbosch.
Always Uber after dark β Uber Comfort or Uber Black. Never walk at night in the city centre. Daytime is generally very safe.
