NATURE

300km of forest, lagoons, and coastline

The stretch of coastline between Mossel Bay and Storms River is one of South Africa's most famous road trip routes. Dense indigenous forest meets turquoise lagoons, pristine beaches, and the famous Tsitsikamma National Park with its dramatic coastline suspension bridge. Knysna Lagoon β€” a vast protected estuary fringed by the famous Heads β€” is the route's centrepiece. Oysters and craft beer are the local currency.
