Table Mountain

NATURE

The icon that watches over Cape Town

One of the New Seven Wonders of Nature and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Table Mountain is the anchor of Cape Town's identity. Its flat-topped summit β€” often draped in the famous 'tablecloth' cloud β€” can be reached by cable car or hiked via dozens of trails. The mountain is home to 2,200 plant species β€” more than the entire United Kingdom.
